For what your looking for it's no contest if your looking at a 2011 gt. Way faster, handles a lot better, a lot lighter ,and much better built than a challenger. BE CAREFUL THOUGH BECAUSE IT JUST MIGHT BEAT YOUR CAMARO.

If you're going for the Challenger, get the SRT8.
If it's between the R/T and the 5.0 get the Mustang.

Exterior: Challenger Interior: Mustang Performance: Mustang Driveability: Challenger. It depends on what you want, my friend's Challenger is a delight to drive on long trips, looks cool, and gives great performance. But all of this comes at a higher price than my Mustang. My Mustang is more fun to drive around town, on twisties, and straight line. We both agree on that, but after four or five hours it gets uncomfortable.

mustang my friend has a challenger and Ive droven with him in it and it feels like a friggin boat and it doesn't look all that great to me... of course the mustang looks even worse than the challenger but the mustang atleast has better handling and overall performance

I've driven both the SRT8 and 2 mustangs (a GT and a GT500). Between the RT and GT, I'd take the challenger. The Challenger has a lot more room in it and around town its a blast to drive. I know the RT has a smaller engine, but they still sound amazing. The SRT8 I drove had a CAI and straight pipes. I could see people walking down the street jump when I tapped the throttle....

since you already have a seemingly badass camaro, get the A5 challenger r/t. get the looks, roomy comfortable interior, enough power to outrun alot of things, and very true to its old muscle car look. i'd rock one as a DD, and i'm a diehard chevy guy.

and mustakes suck :p jk jk.

I'd go for the mustang.. The chance to own an SS and GT, the two best cars that are constantly gunning for each other in the neo-pony car wars, is just too cool!

Looks - challenger wins.

Just about everything else - quality, price, performance/fun to drive factor, etc - Mustang wins.

I'd go for the GT without a doubt.
