Look for a job at a bank. Tellers get decent money now, I believe 10 bucks to start and if you become a customer service rep, it can go up a couple bucks. Not bad money during college. Most banks are open so long now, you will find flexible hours too.

First of all that you are willing to work is refreshing. To pay for my college and expenses, I worked for a lawn maintenance company (I had promised myself after I graduated, I'd never cut grass again, if I ever had a yard, I'd asphault it and paint it green), bartended (drinking age was only 18 then), and joined the military (ROTC Scholarship and then the National Guard). So keep your eyes and ears open, you can never tell what opportunities may come around, I met a College student here last Christmas who worked at Victoria's Secret, HE said best job HE'd ever had, and that was just the fringe benefits.

When I was 16, I got my Scuba Diving license, and started cleaning boat bottoms part time. I made $20/hour doing this back in 1980. If you're near a marina where there is competitive sailing, lots of racers will pay to get this done.

Depends. Any particular thing you want to do in life? I was able to get a job as a veterinary assistant at 16 since I'm in school to be a veterinarian. Getting a job in a professional field like that is a lot more competitive but more rewarding IMO.

You can make some money selling DVDs on ebay using deepdiscount.com
but you only make money in volume sellings. But they are one of those places that will ship the package to any address, it doesn't have to goto the address on the paymant, to save on shipping.

Allot of ebay sellers use them, but again its the volume of sales, making less then a $1 on each sale but times that by 1000s a day.

As most folks are to lazy to search and they sell em so cheap, you can't help but make a little on each sale.

Will cost up front to open a ebay store and get all them programs to set up automated mass sellings but once up, you can't help but make money.
Start low, even a 25cent profit on a sale is good if you have enough of them and its automated.

Check with various federal government agencies. Many places, such as the Social Security Administration have Student Temporary Employment Programs (STEP) that a student can work if it helps their major.

I did that summer of sophmore and junior year of college and earned about 6 grand each summer doing it.

You have to pass a federal and state background check and various other examinations. If you have so much as a warning traffic ticket, they will find it.

Find a nice restaraunt and apply for a waiter's job. Flirt with the cougars and smile alot. Turn on the Southern charm and watch the tips come rolling in.

Don't worry about your hourly wage and concentrate on the customers. Working in a service field will also teach you a lot about life and interactions.
