I remember back in the day I and my g/f were approached by some dude's in a white van...of course they offered me a home theatre system. At least it was in a public place...

this was on the news the other day up here & it wasnt the system was stolen it was the fact that they werent even speakers lol,

Like already said its not stolen stuff, just crap.

They visit those wholesale houses that sell garbage stuff for dirt cheap, then pedal it out of the van like some places do steaks n shrimps.

Been offered crap before but never bought, a friend did once and the $600 speakers he bought for $300 sell on ebay for around $100.

Its all very cheap knock off brand stuff,

The same stuff you find at those big arena shows that come to town all the time.

These guys ALWAYS drive off as fast as possible after you tell them no. The white vans have approached me in walmart parking lots.

They are always in a "happy" mood. It's like HEY MAN look at this! like you just won the lottery. better buy it fast while you can!
And they SNEAK up on you while you are putting your groceries away. you think you are about to get robbed or kidnapped. Great way to start off the convo.

And INDEED it was a home theater system.

Being approached by a completely unmarked white van with random guys in it. The way they approached me I am sure someone has shot them by now because it looks like they are about to rob you.

They hit me up at a gas station last week. Haven't been approached y one of those scams for a while, thought maybe it had run it's course. I guess not.

Just say, can you pull up a bit so I can get your license plate. Then call 911 and report being harrassed by this plate number.

My fellow co-worker, get this guy who says,,,hey man i got this VCR for $50 bucks...the box is all taped up..nice and neat.....my co_worker give him the dough,,,,happy as a 17 yr old with an 35 yr old red headed nympomaniac....comes back to work...opens the box........................................with a brick inside...........

We laughed our assess off needless to say...
