I should have never let her go in the first place ![]() the good part is that I got her back for the same price the guy paid me. and she got a new engine, new interior and a set of drag wheels/tires for the rear as well. ![]() now I just need to go get the old motor when I head back down to chucktown this weekend. all that being said. she'll be mine till my heart stops beating. (or I give her to one of my future children)

'76 AMC Gremlin X with a rag instead of a gas cap and sheet metal for rocker panels. The engine fell out 2 weeks after I sold it as the guy was driving it down the road. Do I miss it?
Like a bad case of diarhea coupled with hemroids!

My first car i bought with my own money was a 1975 firebird espirit. My brother and i worked on it for weeks then went to get it certified the guy asked me if evil Kanevil owned it. All the springs were in real bad shape
. I had to part it out it never hit the road. I was heart broken. As luck would have it i picked up a 84 civic for $250 certified for $40. The guy who had it got it with the house he bought had no clue of the history of it just that it wont start and thought the motor was gone. Turns out it just needed some gas as the tank reading was wrong and it was empty 6 months later when i graduated high school my dad bought me a 1980 trans am. The rest is history

I had a 94 tercel that gave me hell from the jump. Spent 1g fixing it up. Battery went out another 120 dollars. 1st engine threw a rod and ended up leaking fluids. 2nd engine gasket blew. 3rd engine started leaking oil. transmission went out. 4th engine had built the timing belts needed to be replaced.
I spent so much money keeping it running, like a idiot, that I was glad to sell it for a fraction of what I put into it. Found a guy who wanted to buy it for his daughter for 1100. Spent all that time fixing that car because it had a 10 gallon tank and I wanted to save on gas because gase was $4.30 cents here for a while |

1ST car. 1963 Pontiac tempest convertible. Red with white interior, bucket seats, 3 speed on the floor, 326Ci motor. Loved that car. Paid $500 used in 1968. Loved it. It was a lot of fun, and good memories.
![]() And it was in perfect condition. Now here we are today 42 years later.
