Shaker does not look right either, sitting way to low. Becarefull. By looking at it to many things do not look right to be a Trans Am. We owned a couple when I was in high school and this just does not look right from the picture.

I thought it wasnt a true bandit by the fact there is a emblem instead of a decal where i circled the car. My last ride was a 79 bandit tribute car that i sold to my sister-in-law. I havent seen a 77 bandit in a few years now. Still great score man

Nice T/A, I had a 78 Gold Edition and the Pontiac 400 can really wake up with a good cam, Intake and headers and running at least 3:55 gears out back. You could get into the mid to high 13's with the right combo. Or you can find a 455 Pontiac motor and really wake up the car with a build and swap. There is a company out of Brooklyn, NY " Nunzi's" that specializes in Pontiac build ups. You can find the info on the internet. Besides a 400 Pontiac motor puts out globs of low and mid range torque. It won't take much to get near 500lb/ft of torque from the old Pontiacs.

Even if the T/A is not an original Special Edition keeping it all Pontiac will help resale in the future. Anyways, Good Luck. By the way I have a Complete Pontiac 455 motor in parts for sale.
