I would consider myself more of an agnostic than an atheist. I kind of believe in more of a Karma type thing. You reap what you sow kinda deal. But when things in my life go bad, really bad. I still find myself asking God why. Any others that don't have firm beliefs in God find themselves in a similar trap?

Its entirely possible that 'life' and the dimensions which we know as life could in fact be a type of hologram, and we are only capable of recognizing 4 dimensions out of a proposed 7.

Even though most of this is theoretical Physics, and nothing is proven... there are a good deal of very abstract ideas which are (very, very slowly) building evidence.

Imagine we are goldfish in a bowl. Goldfish are not necessarily aware of the word outside of their own, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I believe what I do because of things that happend in my life and others, what I SEE going on, what I HEAR going on.

I used to ask why, then I figured nobody was listening, just pick up a newspaper and you will see what I mean.

God is real. And God is great! My life has changed dramatically since I decided to open up my heart to Jesus Christ . I cant tell you how many blessings I have recieved ever since I made that choice. REAL DEAL BLESSINGS!
I know we all have a different view on this subject, and that's ok. He wants us to choose. But the one question I ask people is "What do you have to lose by just believing in him?"

Maybe in order to understand mankind we have to look at that word itself. MANKIND. Basically, it's made up of two separate words "mank" and "ind." What do these words mean? It's a mystery and that's why so is mankind.

If god is real and responsible for everything and our father, and people don't believe in god, didn't god make them that way, so how could those people be wrong?

Just playing devils advocate here, but the 'awe' and 'connection' that people feel when they believe in a deity can be triggered through many different things. Sound, light, beliefs and mindpower can all produce this chemical reaction and mental 'state'. Then there is the human nature which rewards us upon joining up with others, as humans on an evolutionary level would have lived in groups. Why do people become so happy and confident when they join in an activity with those who believe and feel the same as they do? Ever been to a football game where everyone in the stands seem to flow and ride the same emotional wave?
