That is one badass challenger. I hope they build it, wouldnt be hard. They already have everything to build it.

hardly "spy" shots...that car has been around for awhile now. I had some pics of it about a year and a half ago. Highly unlikey it'll be a production car, if it does become one, expect to pay about $85K or more.

if they build it it would be a high priced filler for the viper....not in any way shape or form a direct competitor to the gt500....it will probably be limited to very few as well. besides that, the giant pignose shaker needs to go and the old school one needs to come back.

Did the SRT10 RAM cost that much ? no, if it is produce ... it will be competitive with the GT500 and Z/28

I doubt that ... I mean what else does Fiat/Chrysler have to combat the 2

... Unless they just don't care, which is understandable cause they have bigger things to do than to worry about the muscle car war

I agree the SRT-10 ram was nowhere near $85k and it had the Viper powertrain.

All I can say is alot of dealers are trying to get as much as $55K out of the SRT8 Challengers...$85K puts it less than a viper and it'll be more desirable than vipers if it hits, at least initally. I know the truck didn't go for that much, but the truck is hardly as desirable as a V10 muscle car and I'm sure the Challenger SRT10, if built, would eclipse the truck's performance...I mean, 13+ seconds in the 1/4 with a V10...c'mon..the Jeep SRT8 would eat it alive.

I think our point is that the MSRP could be close for a Challenger SRT10 when in comparison with the GT500 and possibly Z/28.

You don't think the Z/28 is going to see massive markups when it hits the dealerships?

MSRP and what the dealer charge are two different things.

... how much did the Ram weigh

I mean take into the account of the current SRT8 weight .. add 100-200 pounds for the motor ... deduct 100-200 pounds for the carbon fiber hood and trunk .... add 175 HP and what do you have

Still heavy but damn if it aint a slouch

I agree that it'd be a cool car, would love to see it in production, but I don't think this car was ever build as a concept for production. I think it was all for show. If it does happen, yes, it'll be faster than the SRT8s, faster than the Ram SRT10, and yes, dealerships will try to wallet rape anyone who wants one. I don't see it , though, as a feasable car to build for Dodge, they almost didn't continue making vipers if you guys remember that. I'm all for making Z/28s, SRT10 variant MOPARs, whatever to put more muscle back on the roads. The Corvette ZR1 is a monster, I was surprised to see it built, and it's sold ok, so I guess we'll see.

exactly my point whenever a ford dodge and chevy subject comes up. chrysler does not care that much right now..mind you they care a bit due to the 6.4 coming but not enough.

Exactly ... Even with the more powerfull 6.4 ... I still believe the chally will still rank 3rd among the other 2

I say give the 6.4 to the R/T and let the V10 combat the Supercharge V8's

I know Fiat/Chrysler got bigger fish to fry ... but they can't just turn a blind eye to the muscle car wars/market

Maybe I'm just getting my hopes up

you are and here is why:

the mere fact that dodge made the challenger a low volume 30k produced a year car priced at 10k more than the competition shows that they dont want this in the same market as the other 2. this is a fast cruiser which competes with the other 2 but does not surpass the other 2 without mods. this is more towards those who had one back then and want one now and are willing to pay a premium for it.
