That would be my main complaint.

20-30 years down the road I would definitely expect it. But if lines are rusting out in 7-10 years that would be a little sad.

I live in the south so I have not worked on many vehicles that see a good amount of salt every year.

What a slippery slope. Pads? Rotors? Calipers? Guide pins? Master Cylinder? A lot of those items would have to be changed in 10 years, why wouldn't a steel brake line that has been covered in salt and moisture for 10 winters? The Toyota's can't even keep their frames together, So bad that Toyota bought all the trucks back they could. GM is getting investigated for 0.00177419% of the 6.2 million vehicles reporting a problem?
