An Infiniti over a Camaro. Obviously he didn't do his homework on the "chick magnet" factor. I'm just saying that my RY 2SS gets more "hits" from the ladies then some Infiniti will. Sorry, but Camaro says true American muscle and the ladies like the "muscle". LOL <-- Good luck with your Infiniti, hope it gives you everything you want. Like RESALE VALUE LOL

Yep, I bought my Camaro for its resale value. LMAO

G's are a dime a dozen, I see at least 20 of them on the way to work.

Besides Infiniti's are

Why are we comparing the price of used car vs a new one?

1) The interior is light years more impressive in the G than the Camaro
- high quality materials are used in the G; the surrounding "etched" metal is infinitely more rich than the plastics surrounding the Camaro cockpit - Chevy should be embarrassed with things like the plastic casing of the gear box.

2) It has more HP than the V6 Camaro and pretty much the same torque - now if you are talking the V8 - you win that one.

3) My cost was around $33K for a loaded-up G37S with navigation and rear camera - yes, it had a few miles on it but its tech features crush those found in any current Camaro.

4) Resale - at this moment, the Camaro is holding up nicely - the key phrase: at this moment. It has already begun to take a dive as more and more flood the market - have you noticed that most dealers have several on their lots now? By next year, the value will have dropped 30% or even more in the car - the Infiniti will drop 10%, if that.

5) The G37 is simply a more refined & classy car - the Camaro might be able to get to that level one day but until Chevy fixes huge mistakes like the non-raising passenger seat and the very poorly designed paddle shifters - it's stuck in the late 90's.

I could go on and on but at the end of the day, the G37 is better bang for the buck and a more refined ride that provides the same level of excitement as the Camaro - a much smarter buy.

Have at it.

Is your favorite band TOOL?

Seriously Im going to go to the Zune forums and register and tell them why I got an IPOD.

Nobody gives a shit. If you didnt notice that by now.

BTW how insecure are you about your choice that you had to register here to try and convince other people why your choice was better than what they chose?

I think you forgot point six, in favor of the Camaro: the Camaro turns heads and people love it.

I STRONGLY considered the G37 before ordering my SS. Took it for a test drive, while the fit and finish of the car was very good, the car simply did not raise my blood pressure at all. In fact, I found it quite boring.

After 5k of spirited driving in the Camaro, I have no regrets. Yeah, the interior is not the strong point of the car, but then, it is not supposed to be.

It excels where it is supposed to.

The G37 is simply a more refined & classy car

Thats fine if thats what what you want. Below is the list of cars I considered before buying my Camaro

1. 2009 Mustang GT
2. 2006 Corvette, used.

That was before I learned the Camaro was going to be built, the list then shrank to:

1. 2010 Camaro SS

Take the post for what its worth and please avoid any deragatory comments.

Not a single effective counterpoint made - well, the "it's a chick magnet" one was at least humorous. The novelty of the Camaro is wearing off - the "turning heads" factor fading in 3,2,1...

well 310 guy, the G37 6MT starts at 40k. a fully loaded 2SS costs around that much. But it starts at 34k. If you want a fully loaded 2LT will set you back around 33k.... So if you're willing to pay 7k more, sure get the G37... The fit and finish is nice, it is a luxury car, the Camaro is a muscle car.

But I can tell you this, with the G37 you're gonna want the next gen as soon as it comes out in a couple years. Because everybody knows luxury cars perceived to look like crap as soon as it's not the latest model... People rarely keep their luxury cars more than a few years, so good luck continually upgrading your car and wasting money...

I have wanted an American muscle car since I was 8 (I grew up in the UK).

Cant say its lost its appeal in 30 odd years, let alone in 3,2,1...

My son who is now 8 doesn't oogle every G37 like he does the Camaro's and Mustang's, he actually counts them out loud while I drive (very annoying after a while).

I dont dislike the G37, I thought about getting the convertible (looks too much like a chick car for me...sorry), but muscle cars are timeless.

If you bought a car just to be popular and "turn heads," then you got a personal problem lol. Yes the G37 is a more refined and luxurious, however that is its market. The Camaro is meant to be a good-looking performer, with some modern conveniences thrown in.
