They're not in close in comparison. The acceleration, braking and handling of a bike are just pure awesome.

Not saying you're car doesn't make you smile or make you happy or anything cause I'm sure it does.

I love cars and bikes.

Yes, the BMW has to go up for sale. It's reason for being in the garage was two up riding and that is now the duty of the Sky.

Still think I'll keep the 916. It's just soooooo pretty to look at. And I think I can squeaze it in the garage in front of the Sky.

Now the hard part is selling the K1200GT. It has only 2,000 miles on it so I am hoping it would sell fast, just not sure "how" to go about it.

The BMW dealers out here in AZ all do demo rides on any of their bikes. They have 3 in stock right now!

This is right off their web site...

Demo Ride Dealer Search

Seriously considering purchase so need a private showing or BMW demo ride?
Do you meet the following criteria?
º age 18 or older with a valid driver's license endorsed for motorcycles
º must have experience on motorcycles appropriate for the bike you wish to demo
º no serious moving violations on your current record while riding motorcycles
º fit to ride with appropriate rider clothing

To request dealer contact for demo or private showing, please enter your home zipcode"

Yes, same here . Local Dealer (Pandoras Ducati BMW here in Chattanooga, check 'em out) has had several of them already and does allow demos on them with the proper ID and Insurance. He rode along with me, but yes demo ride was available on the 1000rr.
