The McLaren version kit car (also a Manta but a montage) from Hardcastle and McCormick...
Pretty neat car...........but not as neat as the Camaro. Keep it real!

I saw one of these in San Diego in the 90's and thought it was pretty bad-ass. Full tube frame and V8, sounded nice and looked great.

the McLaren from the late 1960's to the early 1970s ran chev engines, they were unbeatable in the CANAM series for years, yes that was a long time ago , the manta mirage was based on McLaren M8 watch the video of that car. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBNh8LMShyE have a look and turn it up. less than 39" high www.supersite.mantacars.org or for some www.mantacars.com there is less than 150 cars left in the world. I bought one last week on ebay a Manta Mirage 350 chev $7350 with plenty of herbs in the donk and shipping it to Australia it will be the third in the country, there is one on ebay this week 24 feb 2010 open bid $500 just type in Manta Mirage.
