Valid point. Don't diabetics usually wear a bracelet or have a sticker on their DL that indicates this?

Depends on the state they live in but they are frequently involved in some of the most famous police chases and accidents because of there altered sense of awareness. If they are hyperglycemic they can even smell drunk because of the sweet smell on there breath.

Hard to tell, but going by the Brake Rotors I agree. Not a GS either, but not a convertible either. I can't tell if its a Targa top of if the roof just popped off (it's does happen).

Don't all of the C6 Vettes have the targa top that can be removed?

There was a monitoring device for diabetes inside the Corvette, authorities said.
Sounds like a case of insulin shock (hypoglycemic reaction). It's happened to my father who's been diabetic for 50 years, now.
Too much sugar causes him to drift towards a diabetic coma (sleepiness, weariness, confusion, drowsiness).
Too much insulin has the opposite effect (fast breathing, fast pulse, dizziness, aggression).
Too much sugar will cause your breath to sweeten. Too much insulin causes your entire body to emit a sickly sweet odor (the excess insulin has no where to go, so some of it will be secreted through your sweat glands).
Not a pleasant situation, in either case.

My "guess" is that his arrest was to keep him at the hospital for observation. Normally, once blood sugar levels are brought back to normal, a patient is discharged. My father was once arrested on "suspicion of public drunkenness" simply to keep him in the hospital under observation until the doctors said he was fit to leave. While a person's insulin/blood sugar levels are out of whack, there is no rational thinking going on. If this was the case here, he should of had a medicalert bracelet on to notify EMTs to his condition. If he didn't, he's a fool, plain and simple.
