It is so cool to sit there and listen to the stories and to watch the 'time warp' they go through...old folks are young again, blasted back to when they were younger and driving the same car.

Once at a show, I had a guy RUN to the car dragging his wife. They were in thier 50's and his father had the exact same model Buick wagon that I do. He was beside himself standing next to it, and I asked him if he wanted to get in. The last time he sat in one, he was seven - he teared up remembering his dad driving him in the car to school and fishing trips...it is the sole reason I still go to car shows with the thing.

Your Chevrolet is beautiful. Oh how I wish my paint and chrome were that good!
Thanks, its cool to see another person that sees the impact certain cars can make. Now if I could only get a Yugo and do the same thing lol.

I used to help a farmer put up hay back in high school that has it's twin. Still has the Burtness Chevy sticker on the rear. Second owner. Two too many doors and a small motor so I never pursued it but the mileage is in the teen thousands. I'm 99% sure he still has it. Black car. He is aging if anyone is interested in me looking into it, feel free to PM me.
