When I hear about something like this, I think: doesn't this tool have anything better to do with their life than try and "tattle-tale" on someone else for such a petty little infraction? Seriously. Maybe this idiot should sit in front of the local Quick-Shop with a video camera so they can get video proof of the inevitable late-night hold-up. At least that would be more helpful to society than calling the cops on an alleged traffic infringement. Some people need a to knock some sense into 'em.

No. Nothing can be done unless an officer witnessed it.

BUT...should something go whacky with this one and you find yourself in court, tell the prosecutor that you want to file on the driver in front of you for "impeding traffic" which caused you to pass over the double yellow.

Damn! Some people actually do that? Some people are twisted ... Next time, take a picture of her plate and call the cops first. That'll be funny.

I passed a girl doing that. While I was next to her on my way past she looked up at me and jerked her wheel to the right. I was nowhere near close to her. She actually followed me all the way to work and told me "she could have been killed" and that she phoned me in for reckless driving.

I told her it wasn't my fault she was doing 30 in a 45 and that when she looked up from texting on her phone I was beside her.

Add to that whether they appeared to be wearing a seat belt, doing makeup, eating lunch, and throwing beer cans out the window and you've got that person off the road for at least 15 years.

Only tell the truth though. Perjury charges just aren't worth it.

And once again, drive safely. We don't want to hear about how you got paralyzed after an accident from an illegal maneuver. Even if this was minor, you should be careful.

POLS major, attorney—we know about the same things (rights namely). They just work a lot harder.

I'm in an attorney's office right now. Their secretaries (i.e. ME) work even harder lol.
