The engine in the car that ran the 10.5 was not even one of the engines offered.

I am reading the Hot Rod article right now and it has a "392 Crate Motor" (per Hot Rod Article) making an un-announced amount of HP.

For true 1/4 mile times, look at a Corvette C6 w/ LS3 (3200-3300 LBS & 436 HP), running at the most a low 12 or high 11 second quarter mile....maybe mid-11's with slicks...

IT IS one of the engines offered for the drag pack, they offer the 392 6.4, 5.7, and 5.9 engines. plus expect that 392 to be in the 2010 srt8.

That 6.4 is going to be a bad mambajamba. I thought I read the article that was referrenced in a prior post, but didn't think it would make it into a production car. If this IS the case, you CAN'T tell me GM is working on a top dog model Z28 (or what have you.)

SWEET! You're a wealth of Mopar info'. I appreciate your participation here

That must've been on street tires because that thing left pretty lazy. He wasn't stalling up on it, so I think that time was very conservative. They did a nice job though
