Just paid $5.70 for premium yesterday. Mines about to be become a object de art under glass only to look at in a garage setting. Which is desirable .

here in sweden as long as it has a v8 it'll be valued and collectable.
i think all zl1's and 1le's will hold their values the best. low milage and stock aswell. i know i never will buy a modded car. stock imho is what people will look for in the years to come. so any real low milage mint condition garage queen v8 will be sought after

Got that right!!!! Mine's sitting in the garage doing exactly what you described right now. I fill her at half a tank just to avoid the "sticker shock" of a full tank.

V8 will always hold more value than a V6. |

I took his LT1 to be the entry level V8, not a 1LT V6

The value is like a roller coaster. After a while it will go up if it's properly maintained. My brother gets nice offers for his 77 Z28 but wouldn't think of selling. The more options the better.

Camaro SS cars in general retain their value. It is an instant classic car. The more pure the sports car the better. A Camaro is a pony car. There are only two. Mustang vs Camaro. Real, light, fast, blue collar and endless performance mods make pony cars uniquely valuable. IMHO based on real figures.

Even the four-cylinder turbo is a classic, I would take that down any hairpin mountain road any time over most other cars!

I wish I had the foresight to buy a 69 ZL1, compare that to the 69 SS/RS. The factory purpose track built ZL1 has an average price over $600k and the SS are below 100k. I see the factory track 1LE package at some point in the future these cars will be extremely desirable. The V6 and turbos not so much but they will hold some value so people can use them to build clones. Of course this will be long after I am covered in dirt. |

My 2015 v6 retained 71% of its value after 8 years.. And that was on a trade in.
Also the 10k I saved by buying a V6 was invested and appreciating the entire time. Factor in insurance and gas savings as well. |
