Why do you talk like it's some secret weapon or big secret? Even if the 5.0 is getting a bigger blower on the 5.0, it isn't adding or subtracting to what the Gt500 already is.

The 5.4L will continue to be the motor of choice in the GT500 for at least two more years, although it will be much improved. And what they are doing to improve it largely is a secret, although some things are suspected. More or less everything Truth 411 posted is rumored to be an eventuality at some point, so odds are he's got at least one right....hence my tongue in cheek comment.

As for me, I'm not sure what they are doing to the GT500 at this point for next year outside of the fact that it will continue with a blown 5.4L, and that the engine will be switching to an aluminum block. I also know that staggered front/rear wheels (19" in front, 20" in rear) will be an option, if they don't become standard that is. None of that is secret. Outside of that all I know is that the car is supposedly 'very fast', even in comparison to the existing car. My guess is that Ford is moving to a twin screw or a TVS supercharger, and while I can't say that this is gospel a couple of Mustang mules have been spotted with flared fenderwork so I'm guessing that could be on the menu too.
