I came out of basic as an E3 and man the pay was freaking pitiful not to mention the fact I deployed two months after I got to my first duty station. Was home for a year after a year deployment and deployed for 15 months after that. I rocked a 2000 Grand Am that had 130k miles AFTER my first deployment because I knew I would deploy again. After my last deployment (well during it) I bought my 2000 Formula.
Bottom line: No way in hell you can afford a 1SS right after getting out of basic. lol |
