Last hurrah for the LT4! Great looking cars and the manual standard is pretty awesome!

I was about to say that the OP failed to mention the powertrain(s), but post #3 clarified this. This is great news; Finally two outstanding looking sedans with power and technology to back it up. Look and enjoy these cadillacs thoroughly, as these may be the last great internal combustion new cars that may come from Caddy and GM.

I can understand the push for EV and alternative fuels. GM should not forget that their roots began with internal combustion engines. What I am fearful of is that the company will purge what is left of their good automobiles for electric vehicles, and ultimately they will fail because they no longer have stellar vehicles to feature and sell. We already have several makers offering (at least partially) EV technology, and with GM getting rid of their good cars, by 15 or 20 years from now there won't be anything exciting to talk about or to look at from GM.

It is odd that Cadillac says these will be the last ICE-powered V models. Do they plan an all EV lineup by 2025/2026?

Well you have the choice, the base trim will be plenty, imo.

I'm impressed!! Initially I was thinking they were just ok, but as I continue to look over the specs and pictures from the numerous articles, I'm really digging the reserved sculptured athletically toned body.

I loved everything about the CTS-V except the rear end but the CT5-V BlackWing has a nice coupe-like profile with a more svelte look, like Clarke Kent in a tailored suit. This is definitely more of a sophisticated 4 door ZL1 for the Camaro family.
