To the average person, both cars are very similiar looking. I recall reading a post on this site about a camaro sighting in Canada that turned out to be a truckload of challengers.

You got to admit that if the camaro wouldn't have been revived, many of us on this board would have seriously considered a challenger, right?

INDEED..and lets not forget to thank ford for not holding up the muscle car tradition properly and paved the way for the challenger and camaro to be reborn. Sorry for the cheap shot ford. At least you circle your problems, get it? anyone ? lol jk.

I would say I probably would have seriously considered the challenger had it not been for the Camaro coming back and it's awesome look.

I've been VERY lucky; there's a dodge dealer on the way from my place to my boyfriend's and they must have quite the allocation because every day or every other day for the last week they've had a different colored Challenger up on a showoff ramp in the back on the freeway side of their showroom. So far I've seen two silvers, a black, an orange, and possibly a red (may have been another orange; it was dark and hard to tell, and gone by daylight...) But yeah, they got a LOT of them... that rack in the back has only been empty for about 8 hours that I can tell.

Might go in this weekend for a closer look

I am curious about the Challenger, not hating but I'm not that fond of modern Dodges, insofar as owning one would go. I do have general respect for muscle and pony cars though so like I said, I'm curious enough I might go look but my heart belongs to the Camaro

Oh yeah, and that was funny too

Right now it's an '03 Nissan Frontier Supercharged Desert Runner I call Starscream.

On order is a 1SS/ RS IBM with Black Rally Stripes, Beige Interior, manual transmission and a sunroof! Oh, and a stereo upgrade too! Ordered from CamaroScotty in WI. How will I get my baby home?

You must be talking about Carl Burger Dodge right off of I-8. I don't drive by there very often, but I have seen two different ones out back.

I've seen them in all three colors at my local dealership. Loved the Hemi Orange, not so crazy about black and silver was okay. The truth is the car looks great from the front, okay from the back, good from the side. The black wing has to go, cheapens the look in my opinion. But, the interior looks like a standard Dodge Avanger, Charger, Chrysler 300C. It is hideous in person. Big mistake by Dodge in that department. Overall it was nice but not good enoguh for me to give up getting my '10 SS/RS Victory Red With White Stripes Camaro!

My best friend's father just bought one of the 2008 SRT8 limiteds. They sticker for $42k but they got theirs for only $65! its a nice car, fast as hell, comfy but heavy, and you can feel it. If I don't get a 'maro then I'm getting an R/T but thats only if.... I don't know why I wouldn't get a camaro but the challenger is my second choice lol.

Well no. After owning several Chrysler products in the past and having family and friends that have owned them, I must say that I would not even consider a Challenger.
The one Chrysler product I have now, The Jeep Liberty is nothing to brag about, it gets the job done but has many areas that could have been improved on. one, a 3.7LV6 that gets terrible MPG.. 16 city and 21 hwy...
We wanted a small SUV and got the Jeep mostly because of the price.

jeeps have never been known for their mpg, plus just like with the camaro or challenger your not buying for mpg unless your getting a v6 in that case -_- blah.
