Since both are manuals (good choice), I would go for the 2SS. The added features are nice, the leather seats are much better then the cloth in my opinion (i've had both). Worth the extra $.

it depends on what you want to do. if your gonna keep the car for more than 7 years get the one your really like. if your thinking about selling it in 3 years, get the new one because you will have warranty if you keep stock.

2SS wins hands down, this shouldn't even be a consideration. You will get bored of the 2019 1SS interior.

Do the 19 1ss cars have blindspot monitoring? It's saved me a few times, extremely useful feature, was better than wide angle mirrors. The parking sensors are nice too.
Also, while the 19 cars do look better in person, the 16-18 cars look much better. My opinion is biased though lol.

Drive both, test all the features in the 2ss, then decide if you can live without them. That's what I'd do.

sit inside a 2ss and then sit inside a 1ss. unless the 1ss has Recaros I would pass
red interior is a bonus you can still add the dark tail lights but I would definitely go 2ss .

I'd wait for a new 2SS. Biggest regret of ordering my car.

I would go with the 2019 1SS because it is new and cheaper too. Since both are the same color and have the M6 transmission the question you will have to answer is if you can live without the options of the 2SS and leather upholstery. If you could live with the cloth upholstery and less bells and whistles then the ‘19 would be a good choice. The ‘17 has 10,000 miles and will soon be 3 years old when the 2020s come out as compared to a 2019 and no miles. To me it’s a no brainer but you are the one to make the decision as which one to buy. I say buy the 2019! Good luck jRod.

Well guys, the dream is likely dead for now. Was looking to trade in my Z this weekend and it just got caught in a hail storm. The 1 minute it was out before I could get it covered did a good deal of damage. Talk about absolutely horrible timing.
