And not to set off a political debate, but this is actually what Al Gore was saying global warming would do: very unstable weather patterns. Global warming could also end up triggering an ice age; if enough ice from greenland melts off it will mess up the trans-atlantic current, which brings heat from the tropics up north. Once that current goes away, the ice creeps in from the north and the whole thing snowballs.

Again, this is just my understanding of climate change issues, I am not saying man-made global warming is or isn't real

Well, the TAC has not been impeded so this would be WAY ahead of schedule and contrary to their graphs.

When I was working at Motorola he came in and toured the wafer fab I worked at. This was early on in Clinton's first term.

Motorola also let David Robinson tour that fab as well.

yeah.... well....... this is the last I'll speak on this topic for fear of the ban hammer, but a lot of these climate scientists have some incentive to prove one way or the other. so it is difficult to get a truthful answer from them /sigh

It did. But it never sticks. Plus it is so rare. It hardly gets below 50 only in the morning. The end of the day it is like 68.
