Where I'm from we have an anual Winter Lights Festival. The lighting is judged and its international. Performers were quoted saying merry christmas, AND there was a nativity scene.

I read the "politics" sticky. Guess I surmise Tran was referring to those elected officials and not the freedom to compare and contrast factual freedoms and the right to be American.

That's the way I took it too, but I have seen people warned on issues similar to these... I thinks its more the 'implied intensity'... Not saying what you said is necessarily political, but someone can quote you then turn it political very easily...

I'm not trying to cause an argument here. The politics sticky was created because during the election things got way out of hand. The no politics rule has been around a lot longer than that, and involves ALL political discussion.

Threads have been closed for far less in the past. I'm just trying to keep this thread open because I feel like its a topic people need to see and read. We're on the same side here.
