On with the suggestions!!! Get what makes you happy.
No worries bud. Discusion is why I post to any forum in the first place. Hijack threads to me is perfectly fine unless its like a auto sale thread, so I really dont see why people get so upset about it.

The only problem with what will make me happy will make the wife unhappy which in turn would make me unhappy. phew thats a mouth full lol.

Funny thing is if it were a 69-71 Charger she would tell me Id better get the charger. She has a thing for em ever since she saw that fast and furious movie.

Gotta love a woman who likes a wheel stand

The real question is: Do you want to drive it or look at it?? if you want to drive buy the new one, if you just want to take it out and show it buy the classic.. If you drive the classic very much you will devalue it alot....

Good luck getting a loan on any of those oldies unless you have cash. And even if you do get one it isnt going to be at the low rate the new camaro would be at.

chevelle... Hawaii is small. Not much "driving" to be done. I love my 2010 BUT I also have 5600 miles since August. How long would it take you to get 5600 miles...

yeah I am not too worried about loans for oldies. But if I were to get a new one then I would not have to clean out my savings for the time being lol.

well I only had 1500 put on my Sky from July to two weeks ago...
but if you add all my cars up 5600 miles would probably take... oh about 4 months now since I don't work...

Trips to work take less than 30 minutes and thats if there is traffic lol. Just a nice drive not bumber to bumber is about a 15 minute drive.

If I were to drive everyday of the year back and forth to work then I would put about 8400 miles on a car.

Pull the trigger and get the new one, you & wifey will not regret it. AND... if you want a classic, get a daily driver that you can afford to tinker on and tweak it out to exactly what you want. This way you both are happy and you both get the best of the generations.

Actually that is probablly what is going to happen. Talked to a couple of forum dealers about getting one here to hawaii already.

Just on a side note. Looked at a used (212 miles) new camaro and the dealer wants 54k ROFL.
