I like the S550, I don’t care as much for the ‘18 front end though.

Well, I was hoping to see Mach1 return as a 3.5L-4.0L EBV6, equipped Mustang. To test the waters and see what the take rate would be, in preperation for an eventual V6EB Mustang GT.

Regardless, I am intrigued. I'm also curious to see what other powertrains will be in Ranger besides the 2.3EB-10A combo...
LMC's 3.0L GTDI (for the Rapter)?
F-150's 3.0L diesel?

The Bullit mustang looks cool and I honestly dig it, but it’ll probably cost $47,000. Paying that much money for a Mustang GT is absurd in my opinion. I’d rather spend the
Money on a Scat Pack Challenger If Performance numbers are off the table.

They said that the 2.3 is the only engine option, but a diesel is probably coming alongside a V6 for the raptor. The raptor may even get a Ford Falcon Turbo V6 being the ranger is built in Australia.

What makes this really odd is, according to my one colleague who was in the hall for the press conference, Ford showed a film clip of a Mustang and an Explorer driving fast. Both vehicles entered a building and then the Mach 1 logo came up. At first I thought that this was their way of introducing the Mustang Hybrid and Explorer Hybrid police vehicles that they had talked about last year. Now that I think about it, I think what they were saying is that a Mustang and an Explorer went into a barn, did the nasty, and gave birth to a high performance SUV.

Falcons used an I6. Specifically the Barra-I6 4.0T. The last iteration of it in the XR6 Sprint made 325kw. Sadly it wouldn't come close to meeting US emission standards.

oops I did mean to say I6. I just saw a video on one of those falcons.

But someone at Mustang6G.com spoke to a higher up at Ford after the Mach 1 teaser and it turns out that it will be an All-electric vehicle, not a hybrid. However, there’s still no clarity on it being used as an SUV name as well. The Mustang forum is quite furious, as am I. I have liked every Mach 1, and an electric Mach 1 would be blasphemy.

The Bullitt comes with Premium and performance pack plus exhaust. With the extra 15 or so horsepower I think it will be closer to 55k. Especially since GTs can get that high.

The chase scene in the garge is just about as lame as bringing bullet back for the what fourth time? Hey Ford, it was a dark green Mustang. It wasnt that special. Not nearly as special as the charger they destroyed in that movie. Bullet is very far down on my list of cool movie cars for sure and I like Mustangs.

I'd rather have the '68 Charger for sure...
