It shouldn’t. A decent body shop can paint and reinstall rather easily.

Isn't "argent" just black, unpainted plastic -- ie: the same color as the stock grill's exposed plastic? I think that could look ok unpainted if so.
I'm starting to feel like over time, the stock grill isn't aging well on these cars, and the heritage looks more timeless. I actually didn't like the heritage years ago, and hence didn't opt for one. I don't like how in bright sunlight you can see straight through to the radiator with the stock grill, but then again, that probably means way better air flow. I've not seen any cars other than the 5th gen with such a massive opening in the front, which is probably why people can run forced induction easily with a stock hood.
