Except the SS has standard trans and diff cooler so it won't go into limp mode during the parade lap.

Talk about an empty barrel. At least it will be less likely to crash into crowds.

I’m not a Mustang or Ford fan at all. I will say that this Mustang actually looks good, but they still are slow piles of crap, lol. At least the parking lot pimps will have a nice looking pile of crap for their Mustang cruise nights

The price is out.. The GT with PP2 is 44,500 dollars and still lacking things 1LE has.. PP2 does have wider tires though.

This!!! It is a beautiful turd, but a turd none the less. Sad really, I actually thought this Gen was going to be the first Mustang I ever owned. I cannot believe Ford offers such a pile, and people actually buy it.

When the base GT could be had for low 30's, it made sense. These new packages have jumped the price right up to the dominant SS, and it is still lacking coolers needed for track days?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!

Or you could spend $39K on a Hellion Mustang from LFP with 727 horsepower on a 36,000 mile warranty. Why would I buy this performance pack Ford? Lol

I think it's good that Ford stepped up for a PP2 package. Competition is good, drives innovation. Chevy's turn now for the next move.

I'm not sure what you mean? They take a standard GT that they have ready on the lot and build it to the 727 for you. They have plenty, just keep in mind they recommend you upgrade to wider wheels and better suspension which will end up being more than 39k if you choose to do so after you make the purchase

I've seen them on the interwebs for 50k. Markup Maybe? A base GT is 35k. Assuming they just add a supercharger, but internals aren't forged, would need wheels, tires, etc.

A GT Premium with options can quickly approach $50k+ before any mods. Mayne the ones ive seen are loaded plus the mods.

It's a serious piece of hardware that will definitely give the SS 1LE fits especially with the optional Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires (4S are standard).
