can't say i'm too familiar with Comcast... heard of them, but never dealt with them. they're not around here in eastern canada i don't think, either that or i'm incredibly dumb and non-observant. Bell is a holy terror though....

Internet here for me is university provided, we got shot if we use a router, apparently the network guys can tell, and it screws everything up...

Don't use the wireless one unless you want lag in everything you do. Best bet is to be wired in.

My first thought was "Get rid of the apple product and see what you get" but it looks as though you've tried it. I believe the formats are different and you can't just plug and play with macs. Kinda like old floppy disks when you had to format them for apple or PC-compatible.

Hope everything works out. And to the guy who said "Xbox 3crappy" you obviously don't play games online, nor do you follow directions. 90% who had the 3RROD kept the xbox in a small, unvented compartment and the 360 overheated.

Ditch the wireless adapter, it's worthless. You'll lag like crazy, I borrowed my friend's Xbox over Spring Break and wired it into my router and didn't have any of the problems we had with lag at his place with the adapter.

I never encounter problems with my wireless adapter.

milk, play SF4 on your wireless adapter, and then play with it plugged into the modem/router via hard wire.

Or CoD, or pretty much any game where every milisecond counts 1-3 frame links with balrog. =P

Another thing you might want to check is your pin outputs. Are you even getting a link light when you plug the 360 into the MAC book? You might need a crossover cable instead of a straight though unless one end is able to auto detect what the other side is and select what pins to send/receive on.

Also your wireless router has a 4 port switch built into it so no need to buy an additional switch.
