I chose the ZR1. The GT-R while fast and certainly respectable, is just soulless. It just doesn't scream sports car. It screams "Speed Appliance". Also, and I know that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", I think that car is probably the UGLIEST Sports Car I've ever seen. I also don't see the need to have a Gran Turismo 4 screen displaying similar graphics of vehicle telemetry. Bottom line... I just don't like it. I have owned Nissans in the past, so I'm not TOTALLY biased there...

The Porsche, while being one of my dream cars since I was a young lad in the 80s just doesn't have the same RAW POWER appeal to me that the
ZR1 has. Don't get me wrong, I love the looks and style of the Porsche but the costs go through the roof to option one out.

The ZR1 has the style, the RAW POWER, the looks, the soul, and the HOLY SHITE!!! factor to me. Just my opinion.

Tim

vette. either way, don't think i'm going to be racing this everyday...so who's the fastest around a track does not matter to me. personally, i think the gtr is the ugliest of the three. that porsche if just gorgeous. but, owning a zr1 is just something....something...oh. even cooler than owing a porsche.

Discussions do not end simply because someone states their opinion, especially without empirical evidence of the point they attempted to make. Feel free for your part in the discussion to end though...
I would rather have a few challengers and mustangs than the porchE...

Several people would prefer or consider the ZR1, so do not feel dis if we continue on ....

Imagine you fill up but forget to screw the cap back on and shut the door before pulling away. If you're fortunate enough to be driving the Porsche, then your passenger just has to roll down his/her window and reach forward to fix the problem. Fun and practical. I'm sorry, the discussion totally ends there. You can't trump that.

That actually is the most I have laughed ( outside some shunt comments )

Can the passenger reach the Camaro cap? since it appears to be on the WRONG side too? That is my kind of fun and practical, and for the $$$ you save, maybe you could hire a MegFox replica to be the passenger, just in case...

Well for me out of those 3 i'd go for the ZR1....

Mainly because i hate Porsche, especially the 911's... frankly i think the Cayman handles better, Porsche have the laziest designers out there, come on think of something different.... and they are far too common, especially around where i live..... Sports cars for the unimaginative!!!

The GTR..... ummm i thought the styling of the R33's and R34's was much better... it may be fast but i couldn't have it parked in my drive!!

So it'd be ZR1 all the way, looks and sound track alone win this one!!!

I've sat in the Porsche (911 Turbo but still the same thing only with back seats) and Vette (Z06 but again, same thing). In the Porsche, you get the sense of quality, passion, and history. I know the Vette also has history, but you just dont feel it inside the car. It feels like a................................Chevrolet. Also the Porsche is the least photogenic thing in the world. Its drop-dead GORGEOUS in person. Im undecided which is best looking, ZR1 or GT2? As far as the GT-R goes, I dont think its a bad looking car, just nowhere near as pretty as the other 2.

The Porsche hands down. That car is just a homerun.

I just don't like that fact that some morons would probably mistake the ZR1 for a base model vette...
