Got a Chinese buffet that was estimated to be from the 1400s...bought it while I was in Japan. Got several other antiques as well from the 1800s and early 1900s...but that is the oldest thing I have.

I have a thing for furniture for some reason...I can't turn away from antique furniture! My house looks like a museum is what I've been told! Add to that I have linens from around the the world (being in the Air Force I've seen and been to most places) hanging on most things...plus glass items from everywhere...I just collect stuff everywhere I go!

Coolest thing I have collected...a murano glass lion with 24kt gold flakes in his mane and tail...also at his feet. Weighs in at about 15 pounds!

No pics right now since I'm in Afghanistan but I've already bought some linens since I've been here and silk scarfs too...ugh...more crap I don't need!

...and yes, I am a man! Go figure....guess I found my fiminine side!
