I will defer to Wikipedia for the NASCAR "Car of Tomorrow." This article has a lot of technical information you'll probably want.

Thanks...the reason I like those cars is that they run at the high level for such a long period of time

With NASCAR and the "Car of Tomorrow" it's deception at a low level. To the casual NASCAR race watcher, you get the impression that the cars racing are really Impalas, Camrys, Fusions, and Chargers, but they are not at all. All are the Cot with decals.

Kinda late for nascar to try and bring the old-school fans like me back by racing "real" looking cars. If they really want the old-school fans back, dump those F**king toyotas. Brian France still sucks.

The odd thing is that the new Challenger seems to actually have a front nose that LOOKS like an attempt to model the actual front of the actual car. I was under the impression they would all be the same and have screwball stickers to impersonate the noses of the cars.

The Challenger has the "indented" or "scooped out" front end of the real car.

Now, I would assume this is a big disadvantage, compared to the somewhat pointy and smooth noses of the Impala and Camry. I looked closer at the mustang images and it looks like they made some sort of pointy front nose with a tiny amount of grille and a lot of stickers to look like something that resembles the actual car about 0.1%!

I'd love to see a Camaro compete with the Mustang and Challenger. Unfortunately, only the nose would have a resemblance to the actual car. Even then, I'd bet that the Challenger or Mustang decal would fit on the Camaro nose. No thanks. Let the body resemble the actual car then I might be willing to push for it.

Nascar is not a type of car. Nascar is an organization, not a vehicle. NASCAR: National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing. Sorta like calling the space shuttle a NASA.

Nascar is the governing body for Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Camping World Truck and a number of smaller regional series. Sprint Cup is the top tier stock car racing series, and its commonly referred to simply as 'cup' because that stays the same while title sponsor changes (Nextel Cup, Winston Cup). Nationwide (formerly Busch) is a mix of top drivers wanting an extra race durring the weekend, veteran drivers who are in the decline, and young drivers making their way to the top. Camping World Truck series (formerly Craftsman Truck) is the lowest of the big leagues. Most drivers are either relatively inexperienced or have retired from the cup series.

I would be surprised if chevy doesn't throw the Camaro in there. It would help sales I would imagine.
