Why? To satisfy a few thousand enthusiasts? GM needs cars that have mass appeal. This, while cool, doesn't.

Seriously, though -- Does that car even exist? I seem to remember someone saying it was merely a design exercise, not to be produced.
Not everyone who likes coupes necessarily wants a muscle car.

I hear ya. Yet, that's what the Coupe 60 is...same formula as the Camaro. Same DNA.

(That's also why there's a 304hp V6 version...)

Does not exist or should I say it did not go to production. It was only a show car.

A car is more than what is under the hood...the look of the Camaro is all-muscle, V-6 or otherwise.

My guess would be a Buick as a Grand National or GNX, they wouldn't offer 2 chevy coupe on the same platform. I highly doubt we'll see another Aussie built car exported here. I'd bet that if the Police Caprice were offered to the public then production for US units would be moved to Oshawa.

Turns out that Zetas based off cars intended for Australia have major supply problems when it comes to building them in Oshawa (or anywhere else). So its not as simply as just building it here, there are other factors at play.
