lucky boy...i just got a ticket in my camaro 98/70... court date in madatory and i dont know how much my fine is :( it will be at least 6 points on my driving record...

Say not guilty and force them to set up a jury trial date.
Which they do not want to do, cost 3 times more then they will get in fines from you.
What that then allows is you to talk to the prosecutor [don’t need a lawyer] and say you will pay what ever but don’t want full point and bla bla bla reasons why with a tear. They will then work with you to avoid a jury trial. Maybe half fine n half points, full fine n no points if you have a clean record, but they will work with ya.

But you can only make deal by saying not guilty, anything else you get the full letter of the law at the judges discretion and the prosecutor will not talk to you.

dude, I have yet to get out of a speeding ticket! got 3 so far!

driving school twice...and he dropped the last one cause my parents were still paying the insurance at the time...

All of mine were on my way to school!!! The first two from chicago (home) back to normal IL (school)....and the last one from fl bak to school!!!

LUCKY!!! If I am in Chicago I have NO PROBLEMS! Cops have BETTER things to worry about than speeders...and if they do, my mom works at CPD Headquarters, my football coach/friends dad is a Sgt on the force, and I know a few of my mom's boss's! Its when I am out of the city, and still in IL that I have problems, cause all the cops outside the city HATE ppl from the city!
