Ding, Ding, Ding, and that is why they will relocate with plants to follow, manufacturing here is pretty well gone the way of the dinosaur, we noticed that here in the great white north 20 years ago, the smart ones upgraded there education and went into service area the ones who stayed in manufacturing end, without upgrading there education became an unemployed statistic hence the disappearance of the middle class.

Things change over time. Perhaps there is something more current which might have some updated information?

Kinda like ACORN having its "front" building in N.O. practically an empty shell while operations are taking place elsewhere

The first article pretty much says "Hey, GM is selling lots of cars in China and are going to build more there because sales in China are growing exponentially and some people are SPECULATING that GM MIGHT move their headquarters to China."

The second is someone's OPINION that GM should move to China, not an article stating that GM is planning on it, or that it's even in consideration.

Additionally, these articles are fairly old and the likelihood of GM moving their headquarters to China is so minimal it's not even funny.

The personal insults and baseless claims won't get you very far on this site. You'll take notice of that fact quickly.

And posting months old articles claiming "OMFG GM IS MOVING TO CHINA BECAUSE THIS GUY THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GM SAID HE THINKS IT'D BE A GOOD IDEA FOR THEM!" won't either.

I agree Justin no need in the high strung antics Hellraiser However, we should at least discuss these issues that might effect GM operations. I never in my life thought that the Greenback would be replaced as the world's reserve currency by foreign currencies either but The storm clouds are there and it doesn't have to be pouring on me for me to realize its going to rain
