I'm the owner of the 2LT/RS in the pics! Yes, the black stripes on the Transformers SS did look glossier than mine. If given the choice, I would rather have gloss black vs. flat black stripes. His SS did have a heavier feel to it. Wow - if it's tire ripping power you desire then the V8 is the way to go! There is a MAJOR clutch feel difference. The V8 clutch is very stiff/heavy and my V6 clutch is very light and forgiving. But after a few minutes, I was accustomed to the feel of the SS. Bottom line: I'd own one of each (V8 and V6) if I had the means just because they both have great performance for the price. Two thumbs up!

Agreed, the V6 actually did earn its place and its cowl hood. With its reasonable price I almost have to get an LS for winter. This is deffently a win/win car no matter what options you get.

Very cool. Not sure I could let anyone else drive mine so that was extremely big of you. Nice pics too.

Anyone who has a car exactly mine knows how to respect it, plus I just had to let him the V8 thunder! lol, the V6 proved to be a powerhouse within itself also. I also gave him some slight encouragement to leave the mark of a V8 as well, but thats a little test and play. However, it was nice seeing my car drive by, still being in a Yellow 2010 Camaro.

I've seen some posts by SS owners remarking on the clutch/shifting. I keep thinking, "no way, mine is very smooth and forgiving - is the V8 that different?" Thanks for answering that question!

Bummer... everyone I've met has been super nice - and I've met a bunch from this forum. Hopefully that will change once you get yours!

I think "New Friends" is an Easter egg that came with my Camaro!

Yup, a a big differnt differnce with the clutches! We both were in the "Whoa, really? huh thats differnt" Mindset. And I love the "Easter Basket" remark, very true!
