One of the guys who we ride with has a ZG1000... very similar to yours, just less cc's. Heard they are perfect for all types of roads, even seen a few do a mild dual purpose run. I was surprised it actually made it through without getting trashed.

The original Connie... nice. When I bought my old ST1300, I looked at them... but I had to stay on a low carb diet... ST1300 had EFI.

That's a sweet track bike My favorite GSXR's were the superman headlight ones. I owned a 2000 GSXR600 and then upgrade a year later to a 2002 GSXR1000. Great bikes if you don't float a valve first

2011 GS 1200 Adventure
2001 Sporty 1250....it started life out as a 883 but now I changed out the jugs, bored it out, tuned it and its a sleeper.

That is freaking awesome! You are right were I want to be in the next 5 years! Sports bike for the track days, cruiser for bar hopping, and dual-purpose for trips into Mexico... I love it! I was soooooo close to pulling the trigger on a 1190 KTM last month... I was too slow!

Thanks. I'll probably be getting rid of the RR next year come time to give it back. I picked it up 3 years ago, wanting to get back on a sport bike. The past 6 or 7 years I've been focusing on riding the GS. but 3 years ago I needed something quick again. If I do anything next year, Ill probably take a year off and pickup something used to track with. The RR being ...well being BMW's... isnt something to risk tracking. lol

If you have the chance get a KTM or what ever works for you. I've taken my GSA on a few hauls into Canada and love being on it. Past 2 years I haven't done any major trips with it, but hopefully this summer I will.

Growing up the 69 SS big block Convertible was one of my all time favorites. So my 2015 SS Vert was a logical choice. I also loved the old Triumph Scramblers Steve McQueen ripped around the desert on making my current 2015 Triumph Scrambler another logical choice

I love Scramblers! My father-in-law had two 69' Yammy's in his barn when it burned down a few years ago. We were pretty said because we were going to clean the carbs and ride them that Fall.
