New from Olahoma! Just ordered a 1SS Nightfall Gray Metallic.

So, I never did update this thread!

I didn't take delivery of the 1SS I had ordered for several reasons. Dealership I had ordered from never could give me a day when it was suppose to be delivered, was always "I expect it to be here tomorrow" or "It got held up because of storms," " It should be in the state today." Finally I had a promise date of April 29th. "I'll call you either way if it shows up or not." Needless to say, the 29th came. Then the 30th came and still no phone call. So I did some research myself, since I had the VIN# (Thanks Becky.) What I had found after Investigating the vehicle history in Global Connect (webapp that gives me access to certain tools to do my job) I had found that the vehicle had the Pre-Delivery inspection marked completed on 4/8/16. And had been marked as sold on 4/25/16 with warranty activated. At this point I had given up on ever getting the car.

I knew of a 2SS sitting on my dealerships lot that was everything I had originally wanted, (wasn't there at the time I ordered my car) but decided I didn't need. That was the reason for me originally ordering a 1SS. Didn't order through the dealership I work for due to not having allocation at the time.

Anyways, I was just working away doing my thing. Still being bummed out about having an unpleasant experience ordering a car and not getting it in the end. When a sales manager came out into our shop letting us know that If any us, including family and friends, bought a car that day we would get free TT&L. I knew that was nothing to scoff at because that would be around $1500 normally. (Sales weren't so good last month) So I went and found my favorite loudmouth salesman that never takes no for an answer and told him that I was interested in the 2SS sitting on the lot if he could get me a killer deal on my trade in. Gave him the keys to my truck and let him do his thing. When he came back with the numbers I was not disappointed. I signed the papers and drove home my new 2SS.

It's G7Q Nightfall Gray Metallic, H0Y Jet Black Leather, 56R 20" 5-split spoke gray painted machined face wheels, NPP dual mode exhaust,MX0 8-speed auto, IO6 Mylink w/NAV, F55 Magnetic Ride Control. Pretty much everything but a sunroof. Exactly what I originally wanted. So glad I ended up with the 2SS instead. It's one hell of a car.
