Hondas do tailgate me a few times. Most of the time I'm the one tailgating ONLY waiting for the perfect moment to pass. I just don't get people who tailgate and don't pass, don't you know your being blasted with rocks and such? Did have a moment where I was passing a Scion and they kept on accelerating while a car crept closer and closer to me in the oncoming lane ... I got around em well.

They can tailgate me all they want. I just hope they know that the closer they get, the louder my exhaust will be. Get a loud exhaust, then their tone will change.

Lol, do you think that's really the case? It is true it's largely 4 cylinder vehicles doing it.

Sorry, gonna have to call this a case of mistaken relativity, for the most part.

Don't forget that the Camaro is lower than many other vehicles. If you get out of a Yukon and into a Camaro, the vehicle behind you that you USED to look all of the way OVER, now looks like nothing but grill in your mirror... and headlights behind you that used to hit nothing much more than your rear bumper now seem to be pointed right at your mirror, reflecting beams of brilliant laser directly into your retinas.

This gives the impression that people are tailgating you.

I notice that when I'm in ANY lower sports car type vehicle, it SEEMS like people are on my ass... but, time it (count out your seconds from a landmark), and you will probably find, like I have, that there's not much difference in actual following distance from when you are driving your mom's '98 Aerostar.

My suggestion for the cure, if you STILL think people are tailgating you? Either drive much faster, or get out of the left lane!

I rarely get tailgated (if you go faster than everyone it's not a problem). When I do behave my nemesis is Dodge trucks. They like to get real close for some reason.

I see it a lot.

I do see other cars doing it too at times. I've rarely lost from a roll on the street. But I rarely have done it. Conditions have to be perfect. No traffic, from a roll, someone wanting to go.

I have beat a GT500, and every stock car who wanted to go of course.

I got whipped by an insanely awesome sounding Trailblazer and eeked out by a Porche 911 Turbo.

I don't mind getting beat but there aren't a lot of regular cars out there who can. hahaha

Just happened again, there is some construction I wasn't expecting in my area, so several hundred meters of the road doesn't have a surface and they're renewing it. You need to slow down on the camaro as it is a 3 inch drop, this chevy sonic behind me was tailgating me during first section but I didn't mind. So now back to normal pavement, he can go to the right lane (he was going there anyway to make a right turn at next light) but he stayed behind me very close to my tail and I needed to slow down for the second one, instead of turning right he stays on my tail until we pass the indented area and I went on it hard cuz had I stopped he would hit me in the back. Then he went to the right lane and gunned it. Totally ruined my driving mood. I got so pist I gunned it and went after him, he hid behind traffic . I followed him to his destination.

Chevy sonic asshole on 10 mile you're in for a surprise once you come back out to the back lot and see your vehicle you mother phucker. If you're reading this make a account here and PM me you slimeball. Dirtbag had a malicious look to his face and malicious intent.

The hatred against the camaro is real. These pussies don't hate on the mustang in the way they hate on us. The next person that rides my ass will be up for a ride awakening. I will drive you off the street you piece of shit you can go to hell for all I care .

Yeah man, he did the same thing the Ford driver did. He had the whole right lane to move over to, he was turning right literally at the intersection. I was doing 35 anyways on this unfinished rough road just to please him. All that and he refused to slow down at the bumps nor move to the right until insisted on tailgating me in the next bump to make me hit down hard, after that he gunned his economy car. As soon as I got off I chased that bastard , he thought I went away but I just entered the back lot from another side lol. Got my revenge to say the least.

Seriously though I dont understand what it is , something in the camaro brings out negativity from people. Besides our fellow camaro owners who respect the road.

Idk man inpatient people have no regard for others. At my complex going over speed bumps everyone rides my ass and i go slow as i want too! But i try and respect the people here a little more than usual because this is an apartment parking lot they will be able to find my car and jack with it to say the least. So, ive learned to just deal with it...

Yeah for the most part I was calm. I needed caffeine though and my head was hurting. I was already a bit upset since I thought this road would be empty and be a nice backroad to cruise through turned out to be construction hell. I was afraid I bent one of my tires but checked up and they seem fine. So with caffiene and bad road + asshole Sonic driver I lost it

I ignore most people since in Michigan we have very aggressive drivers but if someone is intentionally trying to cause harm I won't let him off. I would ram into him if it wasn't the camaro, even if it cost me a new bumper. it's worth it to me.
