What's the deal with the headlights? Is that supposed some design evolution or something?

they are fast, handle nicely, and are fun to drive. But, i will never buy one.

The camaro beats it in so many places its unreal. More room, power, the glory of a legendary line of cars, you dont feel cramped in it (i'm just speculating this, ofcourse i havent actually been in the new camaro), its a Chevy , oh and has a V8!
Fast? Like I said earlier, I would call it peppy. My 02 trans am would curb stomp that thing. My girl has driven one for a couple years now. The quality is great, it's just not 33+K great.

True it will be down quite a bit in the torque department, but the current model is down to the mustang by about 50 ft/lbs, yet it is just as fast. I believe the current engine is underrated at 306hp also. I may be cross-shopping bet. the two (along with a couple awd cars), but I heard the new Z is supposed to have a substantial price increase. The camaro "should" be a better bang for the buck car if they price it like we're thinking they should...
3000 lbs? The current one weighs roughly 3400lbs, and you're telling me the new model which looks close to exactly the same somehow shaved 400lbs even though it has bigger rear tires and fenders? I doubt it.

I guess they chopped about 4 inches or so out of the frame to make it smaller and save weight. I don't see how they are going to drop 400 pounds with just that either. I'm thinking maybe 200-250, but we will see...

From what I hear, the 370z will be even more expensive. I can't figure out who is willing to pay that much for a "peppy" car.
While the GTR targets the 911 turbo. The new 370Z is supposed to go against the Cayman S. It might be expensive in general but its half the price of the Cayman S. Just like the GTR is half the price of the 911 turbo.
