I may possibly be getting one of these to tie me down until the Camaro comes out....I'm looking around but when i saw this one it influenced me quite a bit...but I'd get black with barely legal black window tint lol

yes it was...its nickname is baby viper it killed a lot of stuff as a stock turbo car

good question. I don't even know if dodge knows where the 'ring is. the neon srt4 was before their little merger wasn't it? I'm too lazy to google right now.

no the SRT4 came out post 2000 the merger was in 1998

I think I read that it was an Opel (Astra?), but Bouncertime's link makes it look like it was a Mazdaspeed3 followed by a Civic.

Mazdaspeed 3 was probably it. I remember magazines LOVED IT!!!!
