Most of the stock LS7's Ive seen put down closer to 460 at the rear wheels but the range was usually 450-460.

Actually the 427 vert is pretty far from being a Z06 convertible. The frame on the 427 vert is still the steel frame that was found in the base and grand sport C6 corvettes while the C6 Z06 had the aluminum frame. The 427 vert basically started its life as a Grandsport that got the Trans, engine and dry sump system from the Z06 that I believe also got carbon fenders.

Very cool. My in-laws live in New Baltimore, directly across the street from the fire hall. Currently I live just north of Memphis, our facility is in Memphis so its a nice close drive to work! My dad is at 15 & Harper now, so it sounds like we hang around in the same areas

Yes the vette is definitely a whole different animal!

Real nice and special. Is he keeping it for the long haul?

Also whenever you have time can you take pictures with both cars Camaro and Corvette?

My best friend has one also. They only made 126 in CGM. 2013 is the only year for the 427 heritage convertible. Mag ride and some huge 335's out back. My good friend and colleague owns the 458.

That's his plan. He is thinking thT this might be the last time you see 427 in corvette, only time will tell. And yeah, I can't wait to have the two cars together for a little photo shoot.
