Rule of thumb, if you can remember it....is always drink a huge glass of water/gatorade before you go to bed after heavy drinking....
And the next morning, its always best to drink lots of fluids......will help a lot....

Dunks Sausage Egg and cheese croissant, a coffee, and a water. Worked everytime in college.
But I always did pound water and OJ before passing out.
