Im sorry but the Chevy SS is a big fail ; looks terrible and cost way too much. G8 was way better. Charger scatpak way before that.

I dont even understand how could anyone on this planet say a 707 hp car from factory at 60k$ is a fail. Keep your pos 3-400hp car, haters. Ill take the 700hp car hahaha

4600 pounds and is my opinion ugly as hell. The interior looks cheap as well. Dodge is just throwing HP on its cars to make up for the lack of handling and sophistication. I guess if you are looking for a car that moves in a straight line the hellcat is awesome. I personally prefer something that handles well and has good acceleration.

At a $10,000 premium to the SS, it sure as hell better. Remind us what place the Charger came in? Oh right, SECOND. Lost in every single category. A car is more than 0-60. Some day you'll understand.

Sadly, some people just can't see past the HP.

For a car that would need to be imported into Canada any number of reviews mean nothing, there is no Chevy product in Canada that does compare.
So the only cars that GM has north of the border is Caddy.

HP is like crack....always will be....

Ford is a crack dealer......and now Dodge is the crack kingpin ....

But Ford is now working on a new formula to regain kingpin status

Oh....and crack heads always run in a straight line and do their dirt on the streets.....illegally

Crack heads even take out their own...See video...

One is a $1,500 part, the other is a $20,000+ engine.

Crack kingpin - that's hilarious! Thank you Hemi Dave for always injecting levity into our threads. Wish the other visitors to C5 were as pleasant.

Not sure who "this guy" is but I don't see anywhere that was stated. "Better car" is a highly subjective term. For example, I said "the SS is just as spacious, is down 290hp, costs $20,000 less and is still more than a second faster around Streets of Willow". All are facts. Not saying one car is intrinsically better than the other.

If my car with just tires and race gas went mid 10's@133 I wouldn't cry over a broken "stock" driveshaft. Look at the 60ft times that bemoth is running. Facts are facts the hellcats are the baddest thing in a straight line out right now.
