You can tell this is GM's first try of making a 200+ mph car. European cars with less power can also average a 205 mph top speed. Example: Ferrari 599 GTB, 27 less horsepower and much heavier than the ZR1. Top speed of the 599 is also 205+mph. COOL video!!

Here it is people top speed of your new Chevrolet ZR-1 is high 206-low 207 watch the digital MPH screen flutter back and forth between the high 206 and 207 MPH marks at the end...

I heard at one point they hit 208 mph. Not that it matters, as anything above 200 is hero territory anyway.

it must have had a tail wind that day... or this car had a head wind... the article said that there was "a light wind" that day so if it was a head wind you might have seen a higher MPH on the screen.
