The "rising demand" will only last as long as their build-quality is unassailable, or 'bulletproof'. (perhaps not, as folks seem to be reengineering 'em right off of the assembly line)

Mostly for Impala's and trucks - the people who were laid off.....don't expect many more camaro's out of this announcement

Hope they're doing 3 shifts. Ordered my 2SS IOM 6 sp 2 weeks ago. Dealer said expect it in 5 months.

While I don't disagree, the truth is it will never happen because people won't pay the extra money for the same product. The differance in cost is roughly this: a Nike shirt that costs about $20 would cost about $36 if made here. Most of the clothes I wear are from a company that makes their clothes here in the good ol' USA...and since they are made very well, it doesn't come cheap.
