Also not necessarily true that the dealers mechanic abused the car either but you just don't know. Who knows, maybe the guy at GM took it for a tire spinning, 6500 rpm cruise during his testing??? There are too many cars with less than 5 miles to buy one with more.

Perhaps true. But mine was special ordered and I took R8C Museum Delivery - a different car wasn't an option! And it was still in its shipping wrapper when I arrived to pick it up. I doubt very much it was hot-rodded around town. I've had no trouble whatsoever with it in over 29,100 miles either.
