For the guy that is knocking that car all I'll say is you must not be a car guy if you think it was just a V6.

the trans am version in 89 with the same motor was the fastest trans am ever made until the LS motors came out in the gen 4 cars. Yes, faster than the almighty 455 superduty even. And, it was faster than the Corvette in 89 too. Just a V6 you say. Although vettes from the mid 70's until 92 when the LT1 came back were pretty much junk with the exception of the 4 cam ZR1.

I'm letting the "disrespecting other members" thing go and giving you the benefit of the doubt that it's friendly banter. Make it more clear next time.

As for the Buick being awesome, deal with it. They might not be your style, but they're muscular Buicks fully capable of smacking the tongue it of a lot of cocky V8 snobs. Just imagine what that company could have been if this sort of car were allowed to prosper.
I apologize but I can't stand ignorance against the GNX. If GM hadn't have killed the product they would have been better than the rest since 87.

The 87 destroyed every EVERY V8 from 87...the stock block can handle mounds of power. The only way I would buy a GM is if they remade the 87 exactly...just a little better interior lol. In the history of GM it was THE WORST decision to kill the GNX just because of the corvette...wooosahhh I'm jumping off my soap box sorry, Mod.

Those cas are pure awesome! I love Buick, from the late 50s till the present.

I'm planning on buying the IPS twin turbo kit for my V6 in the near future. It's going to be my little Chevy Grand National

A v6 that eats GTRs at the strip. Can't believe you just bashed a iconic American muscle car. Man card revoked.
