We have a Chevy Cruze for my wife's daily car. She loves it and it gets around 30 mpg.

You do know they just tack on an additional charge and call it certified.... About the same cost as adding an extended warranty... On a 1600 mile certified used Sonic around here its still within $1000 of a brand new one....

What I am really hoping is when I get the Vue back this time it's actually fixed.... I really like it, I guess I am just frustrated with it being in the shop so much lately. In fact we have had it for over two years with absolutely no problems until this.

Let the haters hate but for the money the spark is a great deal and it does what u want it to do get good gas mileage around town and its cheap to buy and has good feature's with it. Don't forget it will still come with the great warranty that Gm has 100k miles or 5 years for the powertrain and u can always get a extended bumper to bumper as well. A guy at my work has one he loves it for his commuter car.

I was just searching for used Certified Sonics and Cruzes and found a few Cruzes but no Sonics. The Cruzes were actually more expensive Certified used than new with as high as 24,000 miles on them....go figure...

I just got my certified used 2012 sonic this past February, for 14,000. msrp on a new sonic with the same trim is over 17k. I had the opportunity to add an extended warranty on top of the almost full warranty, but declined. I do think I was lucky finding a very low mileage 2012 sonic.

never was a Saturn fan, but good luck!

lol, that's insane. kind of like when the scion tC's were fairly new, the used ones cost more than the new ones. lol

I think Camaro was that way too, for a little while. I remember going to the dealership, and seeing 2013 Camaros costing more than the 2014. I was dumbfounded.

My wife bought a brand new Spark last year. She drives a lot in her job and gets fantastic gas mileage with it. I drove it a few times and it's actually not that bad! I think it has more interior room than my Camaro! It has been back a couple of times though, once for a bad rear wheel bearing at 9k miles and then the MyLink just crapped out, they had to R&R the unit.

But for what it is, well worth it.

I would say, if the Vue is still acting dumb when you get it back from the shop and the Spark works for what you need it for, then absolutely go for the Spark. Having a brand new car with a warranty is always better than having an older vehicle with no warranty or very little time left on the warranty.

Smalls cars and my family do not get along. There like water and oil in my home. They always end up falling apart with me taking a bath trading it in. I stick with large V8 vehicles from now on with no issue's.

I have been flip flopping on this all day, I still have not heard anything about the Vue. I hope this time they will just replace the transmission.. If they do I will be keeping it.
