There is an SAE procedure for measuring HP. If it doesn't make 700 they can't say 700. It is a witnessed test.

Former Corvette CE Dave Hill was instrumental in making this the industry standard to keep the "liars" of the table.

If you recall several years ago all the Japanese OEMs lost about 20 to 30 hp for no reason....................other than they were checked.

I remember that! A lot of domestics gained HP and most of Japanese lost BIG amount of HP.

Well it's confirmed the photos of the Silver car I posted are not the new Hellcat, but the base 392 SRT Challenger. Interesting comment on the 700-hp number for the Hellcat.
