I've been waiting and watching this SS thing for a while now. I was quite dissapointed in the styling. I had really hoped for a more SS true and aggressive looking sedan vehicle

The Chevrolet SS is still overpriced, but at least it's going to get a manual now.

It was always going to be a niche car. It's right to give it a manual, but more importantly note the magnetic ride. That's a major upgrade.

the only comlpaint I have read from any professional review was not having magnetic ride control. That and the looks arent aggressive enough but that is not what they were going for.

Also for the price, I would like to know what other car is out there that comes with Brembo's, 415HP under the hood, leather, sunfroof, a system similar to mylink. etc etc

It's still got too many doors to wear an SS badge.

You're correct. The Chevrolet SS is a bargain for what it brings to the table. Some people have a Cavalier budget with Corvette tastes. While I'd love to have another SS in my name, I know my limits. Not the same can be said of everyone.

I love my SS, this car is awesome to drive. Has plenty of power and a ton of creature comforts to go along with it. I definitely have zero regrets trading in my 2SS on this car. Plus the fact I still have my ZL1 to hot rod around in helps ...

I wanted one in the worst way for the wife but it's more than I want to spend. I'm currently in the market for a 2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0T. I might get a 3.6L if I find a good deal. I want to get the Performance package.

The SS is a killer car but like said above just more than I want to spend right now.

yea, not having a manual was pretty stupid. I don't care for the bodystyle... the G8 was better looking.

Well when you compare it to the German performance sedans like the S4, M3&5, C63 AMG, and soon the CLA AMG, then the factor of price really shines. Although you may not be getting the "German" luxury, you still get lots of comfort without fronting another 10-20k for a three pointed star.

Better! The auto may be quicker, but the manual gives you great road feel. It made a believer out of me!
